Michi-no-Eki Bifuka びふか

Bifuka's castle-like building on Route 40, designed by an Italian architect, backs onto a forest park along the Teshio River with a hot spring, campground and cottages. Look for Mori no Shizuku birch-sap drink and freshly fried croquettes made with local potatoes, and in the onsen you may even spot a sturgeon, which also appears on the menu.
