Michi-no-Eki Ryuhyo Kaido Abashiri 流氷街道網走
At the mouth of the Abashiri River, where gulls circle and fishing boats come and go, Ryuhyo Kaido Abashiri commands views of the Sea of Okhotsk and the Shiretoko Peninsula. In winter it doubles as the terminal for Abashiri drift-ice sightseeing cruises, and year-round it offers tourist information, dining and local farm and seafood products for its 106 car and 16 large-vehicle spaces.
